1. About Kovi and these terms
Kovi is provided by Spronta Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 16278102, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, England (“we”, “us”). These terms apply to the Kovi app, heykovi.com, and related Kovi services. Contact us at support@spronta.com.
By using Kovi, you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information, and our acceptable use policy forms part of these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and your account
Kovi is intended for adults aged 18 and over for personal, non-commercial use. Provide accurate account information, keep sign-in links and connection credentials secure, and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Some features work on your device; online AI, sync, and other features may need an account, internet access, an invitation, or a supported device. Availability and limits are shown in the app. You are responsible for activity you authorise, but this does not remove protections you have under consumer law.
3. Food, nutrition, and AI
Kovi provides general meal-planning information. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or manage medical conditions, including ADHD or eating disorders, and does not replace a doctor or registered dietitian.
Nutrition values, portions, targets, recipes, and AI responses can be incomplete or wrong. They are estimates, not guarantees. Check product labels and ingredients, especially for allergens and dietary restrictions. Use safe food storage and cooking practices; verify that food is properly cooked. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or need a medically prescribed diet, get appropriate professional advice before relying on a plan.
AI can generate similar responses for different people and can make mistakes. Review suggestions before using them. Kovi does not promise a particular weight, fitness, or health outcome.
4. Your right to use Kovi
We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Kovi for your personal use while you comply with these terms. Kovi’s software, branding, and original content belong to us or our licensors. You must not resell access, interfere with the service, bypass safeguards, or copy or reverse engineer software except where the law gives you a right that cannot be excluded.
For an App Store download, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app licence unless a separate valid custom EULA is supplied with the app. See our app licence information.
5. Your content and connected services
You keep your rights in the recipes, text, and other content you provide. You give us permission to store, process, and transmit that content as needed to provide the features you request, subject to our privacy policy. Only submit or import content you are entitled to use. Importing a recipe does not transfer the original publisher’s copyright.
Optional connections are governed by the provider’s own terms and the permissions you grant. We do not control their availability or changes. You can disconnect them. Keep connection links secret because anyone with an authorised link may be able to access the information it exposes.
6. Prices, purchases, and cancellation
Any price, paid feature, trial, usage limit, or renewal term will be shown before you agree to a purchase. We will not charge you merely for visiting this website. There is no paid checkout on this website.
If Kovi offers an auto-renewing App Store subscription, Apple handles payment using your Apple Account. The purchase screen states its price, duration, trial, and renewal terms. You can manage or cancel it in Apple’s subscription settings. Deleting the app or your Kovi account does not itself cancel a subscription.
Refund requests for Apple purchases can be made through Apple’s Report a Problem service. Any mandatory cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights still apply. We will not introduce charges or overage fees without your agreement.
7. Availability and changes
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We may maintain, update, or change features and may need to interrupt access for maintenance, security, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will give reasonable notice of material reductions where practicable and honour any rights you have in relation to paid services.
Beta or preview features may change and can contain errors. Keep a copy of information that is important to you using available export tools.
8. Ending use and deleting data
You can stop using Kovi at any time. To request account or personal-data deletion, see account and data deletion or email support@spronta.com. Signing out or uninstalling does not delete cloud records.
We may restrict or end access for a serious breach of these terms, unlawful activity, or a security risk. Where reasonable, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve it. Restrictions and retention remain subject to applicable law and your consumer rights.
9. Responsibility and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Your statutory rights, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where applicable, are unaffected.
Where we breach these terms, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by that breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. Kovi is for personal use, so we are not responsible for business losses such as lost business profits or opportunities.
Statements about estimates, AI, or service availability do not remove our legal responsibilities or mandatory guarantees.
10. Law and resolving problems
Please contact support@spronta.com if something goes wrong so we can try to resolve it. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live.
You may bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or in the courts where you live if applicable law gives you that right. These terms do not require consumers to use arbitration or waive collective remedies available under applicable law.
11. Updates and general terms
We may update these terms and will give appropriate notice of material changes, normally at least 14 days in advance. Urgent legal or security changes may take effect sooner. Changes will not retrospectively take away accrued rights. If you disagree with a material change, you can stop using the service and exercise any cancellation rights available to you.
If a provision is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. We may transfer our responsibilities in connection with a business transfer only where this does not reduce your contractual or statutory rights.
